It’s allllmost tiiii-iiiime! The swan song of summer doth approach and its imminent arrival is marked by the best fest in the pacific northwest—the Volume Bomb Block Party! 💣50 bands blaring through the Barmuda Triangle NEXT SATURDAY at the interse # # of SE 49th & Hawthorne—and it’ll only run ya $15 if you get there by 6pm 🥲 We are playing at The Trough 🐽 this year so you knowww it’s gonna get rowdy.

As editing nears completion, we have been looking back on these past 7 months with an astonishment that almost borders on disbelief. We are truly stunned by all that has transpired and everything we were able to accomplish with this project.

Aside from the tireless efforts of our videographer/editor (with assistance from ) our location partners local legend & athletic provocateur punk rock drip-drop DJ costume design collabs with tailoring by makeup by and all the friends, bands, and extras that gave their time/ear/ideas, we want to take a moment to formally acknowledge that NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE without the generous grant we received from The Echo Fund & Thank y’all for this incredible opportunity and for all of the support! In a time where so much arts funding for creatives is under attack in this country, it means so much that y’all are committed to keeping this thing going.

Applications for this year’s Echo Fund Grant are open for ONE MONTH ONLYYY, from Aug 4th—Sept 5th, so get your s**t together, get the word out, and get ready to apply!!! If you want to chat a bit before you submit, feel free to hit us up about our experience 💪💪💪
