Providence Portland is introducing new safety measures to help make our hospital the best place to give and receive care.

🗓️ Starting July 8, 2026:
• The main entrance will be open 5 a.m.–6 p.m.
• The cancer center entrance will be open 5 a.m.–6 p.m.
• The emergency department entrance will remain open 24/7

All other entrances will be for caregivers only, including the skybridge from the Glisan parking garage.

➡️ What to expect:
• Security screening is now in place at all public entrances. Please allow a few extra minutes when arriving.
• Weapons, illegal drugs and ma*****na are not permitted.

♻️ Save the date: Styrofoam collection returns June 27 ♻️

After an overwhelmingly successful January event — collecting five truckloads of Styrofoam and keeping it out of landfills — Providence is hosting its next FREE collection day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27.

✅ Accepted: Clean, rigid Styrofoam that snaps when bent
❌ Not accepted: Soft/squishy foam or material with tape, plastic or debris
