Hello friends of Friends of ours Pdx, I want to take some time to thank our daily volunteers, our Monthly Volunteers and our weekly volunteers. we can't do what we do without you, so I want to make sure that i continue to thank you. Yesterday we handed out 150 sack lunches 50 blankets 50, hats, 50 gloves and countless hand warmers to our houseless neighbors living on our streets, in their cars/RVs. On Saturday we handed out 100 sack lunches and helped our houseless manage and pick up their trash. on this past Friday we out 80 sack lunches. thank you to all my volunteer sandwich makers and thank you to all of our donors who continue to support us. in the past i use to take photos of what we did to ensure our supports that their contributions are being used as intended for, but lately our houseless have asked if we not take photos because of their privacy so I want to respect that. So, what I will do is show photos of our vehicles at these sites doing the work. thank you in advance for all you do for us.

Hey All, its been a while since we posted. Yesterday we handed out 120 sack lunches and 8 blankets to folks living on our streets in North and inner Northeast. Thank you to our volunteers who help make all the daily sandwiches we couldn't do it without you. As tuffer times approach us all when less and less is seeming to be our norm, it is our mandate our call to step up show up and fill the need. The work our organization and others like ours do we can't provide the much needed help without community members and business owner supporting us in the way you have been. We thank you and we ask that you continue supporting locally small non-profits on the ground doing the mighty work to help those less fortunate.

We spent the first part of the morning in the St.Johns neighborhood around Cathedral. We helped our Houseless on North Crawford and Richmond, North Boston down by the boat ramps.
