Six months might just be my favorite age to photograph. They’re curious about everything, full of smiles, and starting to show so much personality. Most babies are sitting up independently or with just a little support, they haven’t hit the stranger danger phase yet, and best of all, they can’t run away from us quite yet. 😂

For many families, newborn photos done in the studio are one of the first outings, and it’s a perfect way to ease into getting out in the world with your new baby. No crowds, no judgement, just a safe space to figure it out as you go 🩶

Can’t decide between an in-home session or studio? At the studio, you don’t have to worry about cleaning house (although I genuinely do not care if your house is a mess - you did just have a baby!) or containing pets or good lighting. On the flip-side, in your home you don’t have to stress about packing a bag or taking a car ride. Which you choose is all up to personal preference!
