Restoration vs painting?

We love a good refurbished wooden piece of furniture but we decided to have a little more fun with this living room table set! We thought some matte black and peek-a-boo legs would give it a modern take.

We love a good before-and-after, and after finding this ugly duckling while scrolling our local , we knew we could bring it back to life. We coordinated a pickup within the hour for just $20! 🤯 A D

The ugly green had to go, and although the wood wasn’t very desirable underneath, it was the perfect piece to try out some fun folk art designs!
