MFO is looking for input, insight and feedback from industry stakeholders on Maine’s current and proposed visual media incentive program. Please consider signing up so that you can make sure your voice is heard and you can stay informed. MFO will also be scheduling another evening virtual listening session in December.

Halloween is just around the corner, a fun and spooky time to be in New England. Did you know the original 1989 Pet Sematary was filmed in Maine? The novel and screenplay, written by Stephen King, came to life (and death😱) in multiple locations in this beautiful state.

Hooray for our crew! (politely, cordially) stormed the State House and met with to advocate for our cause - better tax incentives that will encourage film producers to shoot on location in our state, which will grow the film industry here and bolster the Maine economy!
