New month, New terp! Move over Limonene, Valencene is making the citrus scene with it's sweet aroma and juicy flavors. 🍊

This terpene is named after the Valencia Orange, one of the most common sources of it. You can also find it in other things such as Juniper, Peppermint, Myrica Rubra (Chinese Bayberry), and other plants. Its properties are known as natural bug insecticides and can be used to repel pests like ticks, fleas, mosquitos, and more. We can appreciate it for its sweet, citrusy aroma and the woody-herby flavors it provides for certain strains. 🪵
