Every day we, as consumers, make choices (large or small) that have immense effects on the earth + the world we live in. 💥 Did you know - more than 20% of the fruits and vegetables grown in America never make it off the farm because they aren’t “perfect” enough for grocery store standards; supermarkets end up dumping close to 40% of their food due to overbuying/food spoilage; $218 billion of purchased food end up in the dump (taking up 21% of our landfill + emitting methane into the atmosphere); and, Americans will toss over 5 million tons of food in total between Thanksgiving and New Years this holiday season?!?💥 Well, we are fired up and fed up. So, we at MØRE are not only making changes in our own lives + habits, but also want to do MORE to educate about this issue and help fight food waste! .
