Sometimes going MIA is the best reset. It removes you from the noise to think clearly and find resolutions.

For example, I recently decided to walk away from some things I thoroughly enjoyed because I was having to compromise who I am to stay involved. I abruptly pressed pause some things and abruptly left other opportunities entirely. My peace of mind was at stake.

During this time, I had some people outside my core reach out to see how I was and what was going on. You have no idea how awesome that is to be thought of and that your absence is noticed.

With that, Invest back into the people that actually care, not the people you want/hope to care, because these are your people.
