I don't think we realize how much energy we spend trying to fit in.

Trying to seem less excited.
Less nerdy.
Less enthusiastic.

But the right people don't make you shrink.

They make you feel safe enough to be MORE yourself.

That's what I love about Kitty Crochet Club

You can get ridiculously excited about yarn, cats, colors, fandoms, or tiny details...

and people understand exactly why.

One of my favorite things about crochet isn't actually the crochet.

It's the people.

The people who understand why a new yarn color is exciting.

The people who appreciate a tiny handmade detail.

The people who immediately say "SHOW ME" when you're excited about something

Because belonging isn't about fitting in.

It's about finding people who make you feel safe being yourself.

And that's worth more than any finished project.

What's one thing you absolutely geek out over? đź‘€

One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is that

"If this was meant for me, it would feel easier."

But crochet doesn't work that way.

The first stitches feel awkward.
The first projects look wonky.
The first mistakes feel huge.

And yet... that's exactly how we learn.

The messy parts aren't signs to quit.

They're proof you're growing.

What's something hard you're learning right now?

One of the reasons I love cats so much is that they never seem embarrassed by the things they enjoy.

They fully commit to their joy.

And crochet gave me a safe place to explore that same feeling.

A place where creativity didn’t have to make sense to anyone else.

A place where I could experiment, play, and fully lean into the things that genuinely made me happy.

I realized the “weird” parts of ourselves are often the most lovable parts especially when you find people who light up right alongside you.
