Greta+Rylan Trad Duo
Toward the Sun and Valhalla are such groovy tunes and so much fun on fiddle and drum! -As heard during our gig supporting Ethos Music Center’s Festival of Friends open house event
While combing through the duo archives, we came across these gems! Jon Hazilla, renowned jazz drum set instructor at the Berklee College of Music who also happens to be Greta‘s uncle, joined us for a living room jam on percussion. What a blast and privilege! Can’t wait till the next time we get to do this!
It’s always a great time busking at the farmers market. There’s something special about the unexpected moments of joy and connection that are fostered when live music is performed spontaneously in community spaces. Catch us busking at the Portland Farmers Market on the campus of Portland State University in the warmer months.
Another bangin’ set of reels from our gig at Ethos. Tunes are Brenda Stubbert’s into Jenny Dang the Weaver
Here’s a great set of Scottish fiddle tunes during a performance supporting Ethos Music Center’s Festival of Friends open house event. We were thrilled to play in support of great folks doing great work in the Portland community! Thank you for inviting us to share our music with you!
Tunes are Lady Mary Ramsey and Bride’s Reel
