Today I climbed Everest… okay, not literally, but any OrangeTheory member knows this signature workout all too well.

When I got to class and saw "Everest" on the board, it took every fiber of my being to stay. I wanted to turn around, walk out, and pretend I never saw it. But I didn’t. I stuck it through. I tried my best. And sometimes, that’s all you can do.

Entrepreneurship is the same way. There are days you feel on top of the world and days when the incline keeps getting steeper and you wonder why you signed up for this in the first place. But the only way out is through. You show up. You take it one step at a time. You push through the hard parts.

You won’t always hit a personal record. Some days, you’re just proud you didn’t quit. And that’s enough.

📢 Friendly reminder: Organic social media is a long game, not a quick fix.

If you’re expecting overnight results, you’re setting yourself (and your social team) up for disappointment. It takes at least 3 months to see any movement and closer to 6 months for real, actionable insights.

Anyone telling you otherwise? 🚩🚩🚩

Trust the process, give your content time to work, and stop trying to rush something that literally requires consistency to succeed.

Organic social isn’t magic—it’s strategy, patience, and showing up again and again.

If you think the secret to social media success is high-production, fine-tuned, perfect content… I’ve got bad news.

Nobody’s scrolling through their feed thinking, Wow, that brand’s lighting is impeccable. But you know what they do think when they see something overly polished? Oh, it’s an ad. And they scroll right past.

Some of the best-performing content I’ve ever created wasn’t polished at all. It was raw, off-the-cuff, sometimes even a little chaotic. But it connected. Because people don’t log onto social media to watch commercials. They want stories, personality, and content that makes them feel something.

Your brand won’t stand out by being “flawless.” It’ll stand out by being real.

If you’re spending hours fine-tuning every little detail, take a step back. Less overthinking, more posting. Less perfection, more connection. You got this 💪

No, I don’t outsource work to random people on Upwork for an unreasonably low rate.

When it comes to the work I do, I believe in quality, consistency, and putting my best foot forward. That means the work I create is done by me or trusted collaborators who know my standards and my clients’ needs.

I get it, outsourcing might sound like an easy fix. But for me, it’s about building relationships, providing value, and maintaining a level of trust with my clients. That’s why I keep it personal, always delivering work that I’m proud of.

No shortcuts here, just solid work from someone who’s in it for the long haul. 🔥

When I first started creating content as a service, I was all about the well-thought-out, planned content. Every post, video, and piece of content had to be perfect, and I’d spend hours refining each one. But here’s the problem I didn’t see at the time…

I wasn’t focusing enough on B-Roll.

I didn’t step outside the plan enough to get extra footage, behind-the-scenes moments, or even spontaneous content that could serve as “backup” when things didn’t go as planned.

The result?
I ended up doing double the work later on. I didn't have enough spare content to work with when things hit the fan like last-minute requests or time crunches. I was scrambling to fill the gaps, instead of having a library of B-Roll to pull from.

Looking back, I realize how important it is to build flexibility into your content plan. B-Roll is key. The extra footage, the “in-between” moments, and the filler content make everything else feel more dynamic and authentic. It gives you the cushion you need when you need to switch gears or keep things fresh without starting from scratch.

So, if you're just getting started with content creation, take it from me... Don’t skimp on B-Roll. It’ll save you time, energy, and a lot of stress in the long run.
