“6 months ago, I stepped onto a plane not knowing exactly what God had in store for me. Today, I’m returning home as a different person. God has transformed my heart, strengthened my faith, and shown me His faithfulness in ways I could have never imagined,” Lyneda (lyneda meyers), 6-Month Africa IMMERSION team member.

“South Africa has become so much more than a place I visited—it has become a part of my story. The people I met, the friendships I built, the communities I served, the children who stole my heart, the beautiful landscapes, the laughter, the tears, and every lesson along the way will stay with me forever.

These six months have taught me to trust God more deeply, love people more genuinely, and find joy in serving others. I’ve witnessed His love in countless ways and seen His hand at work in every season. Even through challenges, God was always faithful, always present, and always good.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible privilege of serving Your Kingdom and Your people. Thank You for every conversation, every smile, every prayer, every lesson, and every person You placed in my path. Thank You for changing my life from the inside out.”
