Quinnovative Marketing

After a 40-year marketing career—including the past 11 years with Quinnovative Marketing—I will be retiring and closing my business as of June 2026.
It has been a true privilege to work with so many incredible businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout the South Shore, Cape Cod, and Greater Boston area. I am deeply grateful for your trust, collaboration, and support over the years.
At this time, I am no longer accepting new clients and will be concluding work with current clients.
For those seeking marketing or social media support, I recommend visiting the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce and South Shore Chamber of Commerce websites for local resources and referrals.
Wishing you continued success and all the best in the years ahead.

How can you achieve your marketing goals for 2025? With an Action Plan to support each one. 🗓️
Here's a step by step:
1️⃣ Set your goals. Make sure they’re S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-Bound.)
2️⃣ Define your strategy for each goal (a short description of what you're going to do).
3️⃣ Make a to-do list -- tactics to support each strategy and include completion dates.
4️⃣ Monitor your progress and make adjustments as necessary.
5️⃣ Review your results. Did you achieve your goal? Why or why not?
6️⃣ Adjust your goal and action plan for next year, or set a different goal.

The holiday season is the perfect time to show some love to the small businesses that make our communities unique. Supporting local businesses doesn’t just feel good—it has a direct impact on your community’s growth and sustainability. 🎁🎄
Here are some creative ways to make a BIG difference this holiday season:
1️⃣ Shop Small, Think Big - Whether it’s picking up a unique gift or restocking your pantry, every dollar spent at a small business helps fuel a dream.
2️⃣ Spread the Word - Love a local shop or café? Share the love on social media! A simple post or review can introduce your favorite small business to new customers. You can also like and share their posts to help give them more exposure.
3️⃣ Give the Gift of Local - Gift cards to local stores, restaurants, or service providers make thoughtful presents and keep money circulating in your community.
4️⃣ Attend Local Events - Holiday markets, pop-ups, and Small Business Saturday events are excellent ways to discover new businesses and support local artisans.
5️⃣ Shop Online, Locally - Most small businesses have websites. Skip the big-box retailers and order from their online stores instead.
6️⃣ Support Even If You’re Not Shopping - Stop by, say hello, and share their business with your friends. Sometimes, a word of encouragement or a heartfelt thank you means the world to a small business owner.
💡 Why It Matters - When you shop small, you’re supporting your neighbors, creating local jobs, and keeping your community vibrant.
Tag your favorite local business in the comments and give them a shoutout to show your support and appreciation. 🌟 Here are two of my favorites:

"Is traditional media making a comeback? I’m having trouble getting attention using digital media.”
We recently explored this great question during our Marketing Roundtable hosted by SCORE Mentors.
Digital media often offers excellent targeting and cost-efficiency compared to traditional channels. However, if your digital efforts aren’t gaining traction, it might be time to assess your strategy. Here are some questions to guide your approach:
🔹 Is your target audience on the platform you’re using? For instance, B2B audiences are more active on LinkedIn than Facebook.
🔹 Are you diversifying content formats like image posts, carousels, reels, and stories while analyzing which performs best?
🔹 Is your posting consistent and aligned with an optimal schedule?
🔹 Have you tried boosting posts or running ads? Paid options on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn offer targeting and analytics that measure effectiveness.
🔹 Is there an enticing offer? Ads work best when they appeal directly to your audience’s needs.
🔹 Are you building an email list to re-engage your audience?
🔹 Is your website optimized for search, with helpful blog content?
🔹 Are you using video to create a personal connection?
🔹 Do you leverage short-form videos like reels, stories, or YouTube Shorts?
While digital media shines in flexibility and measurement, certain traditional channels can complement it well, especially for local businesses. For example:
🔸 Direct mail postcards with a compelling offer and QR code can drive traffic to your website, trackable through redemption rates.
🔸 Print media (posters, magazine ads) and local TV ads with a QR code help bridge offline and online engagement.
🔸 Local radio can be effective for promotions or events—just ensure the station reaches your ideal customer. Most stations offer digital ad packages as part of your buy.
Traditional media can be more costly, so careful targeting and budgeting are essential.
