"Alongside Mercutio, Richard II is one of my favorite Shakespeare g**s. So what an exciting opportunity to see one of the less frequently done q***r underground plays in the classic canon! This is such a crystal clear production, telling the story that's not only in the words but also underneath the text - the disruption that happens when someone not performing conventional masculinity winds up in a traditionally masculine role. And how cool to see a historical epic being done in such an intimate, and uniquely q***r, venue. Congrats to the awesome cast and crew at Food for Groundlings! Looks like they're sold out for the rest of the run, but get on the wait list. And if you can't see this, go out and support other q***r theatre in Pittsburgh. Let's do more of this!"
