“I'm a single mom, who likes animals and anime. I love to embroider, crochet and bake when life is getting stressful.”

Our mutual aid unfortunately can't help everyone every month; please them keep life a little less stressful if you can.

You are invited to join SWOON Alliance and Pittsburgh’s Coalition for Safer S*x Work for the Pittsburgh premiere of “S*x Work: It’s Just a Job”, the latest documentary by legacy New York–based filmmaker Tami Gold. The screening will take place at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater on February 6, from 7–9 p.m.

The screening will be followed by a panel moderated by Pittsburgh-based author, columnist, and s*x worker Jessie Sage. Panelists include filmmaker Tami Gold; author Alex Vitale, whose book The End of Policing informed the film and who currently serves on New York City’s mayoral transition team; and local activists who played a key role in the recent ordinance reducing the criminalization of s*x work from a misdemeanor to a summary offense.

Don’t miss this timely and essential conversation with leading voices shaping the evolving landscape of s*x work amid today’s increasingly fascist sociopolitical climate. This event is made possible through the generous support of the Opportunity Fund. A few tickets will be available at no cost for current SW industry pros.
