COME WALK WITH US: Coldest Night of the Year

Bethlehem Haven will hold a Coldest Night of the Year event to raise awareness and funds to support people experiencing homelessness. It will take place from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, starting at Stage AE on the North Shore.

You’re invited to register to walk with us, or you can sign up to create your own team of walkers to fundraise and participate in the event. There will be a 5km (or about 3 miles) or a 2km (or about 1.2 miles) walk route option.

*You MUST register ahead of time to participate.*

Not able to join us in person? People can still register to fundraise and walk offsite with friends and family. Is your company interested in sponsoring this event?

We’re grateful to Allegheny Health Network Ob/Gyn Residents for supporting Bethlehem Haven during their American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Wellness Week festivities earlier this month.

A dollar from each beverage purchased at Trace Brewing in Bloomfield during the 2/6 event was donated to Bethlehem Haven.

Here’s a list of things to consider bringing with you as we walk together to end homelessness!

- A cell phone for emergencies.
- Good waterproof shoes/boots for walking.
- Warm coat and mitts/gloves.
- A face mask for personal use or if you need to go inside.
-Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities.
-Your own water bottle.
- A passion for the charity you're walking and fundraising for.
