Bridge Works

Here is a Custom G.E.Smith style Half Bridge that has the optional Bigsby modification done across the back to allow the strings to cross over from the Vibrato to the Saddles.
Also note: how all of the Bridge Plates coming from Fender these days, have a matte/Bead Blasted appearance on the surface that the Saddles sit on. All of the outer surfaces are still polished.
The Bigsby Mod can be added to any of our Standard or Custom Plates.

This is a very interesting Bridge that we did for a special order recently. It is a Left Hand Telecaster Bridge Plate, but it has been set-up, totally, for a right handed guitar. So the Bridge Pickup gets that reverse Hendrix thing going on. The Tele will also have a Bigsby B5 Vibrato mounted behind the Bridge, so it required the special clearance Notches accross the back of the Bridge Plate. Top it all off with a set of Hybrid Notches along the sides and a trio of our Custom Comp Saddles, and you've got one unique Telecaster Bridge!

Every once in a while, we get a request for a "B"-Bender Notch. This is clearance for the "B" string to come off of a String Bender Capstan located behind the Tele Bridge, cross over the rear wall of the Bridge and proceed across the Saddle in normal fashion. This particular Bridgeplate is a "Top-Load" Model, but this modification can be performed on any Vintage Style Tele Bridgeplate, for the "B" string, "G" string or Both.
