Woke up to amazing news as my design for North Hills High School won the Gene Kelly Award for Outstanding Scenic Design!

Not too shabby for year #2!

Not only was best scenic awarded, my Alma mater crushed it with winning:

- Outstanding Overall Musical
- Outstanding Lighting Design
- Outstanding Crew/Technical Ex*****on
- Outstanding Costume Design
- Outstanding Vocal Ensemble

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Alice by Heart!

And to the most incredible and talented director, thank you for giving me another opportunity and being by your side as you and the kids practically sweep the award room!

First of all, I love my job, I love the people I spend every day with and I wouldn’t trade the world for it. When you find that shop with the right smiles, laughter, challenges, skill, and appreciation you don’t want to go anywhere else. We all know with the pandemic what happened to our industry and due to that pause in our field I’ve been able to take a step towards something I never thought I’d be able to. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to continue within my interests and skills and accept a position as a Structural Specialist and Artist with the U.S. Air Force. I’ve signed on with the reserves which will allow me to comeback to the theater and continue to do what I love behind the scenes of the bright lights. Much love for all the support 🙏🏻. I will not be able to see anything for a few months so bare with me! Can’t wait to paint with and for the world again soon!
