For nearly 20 years, Mary Beth Sizemore has helped patients access dental care in a setting many people rarely think about.
As a Dental Hygienist at Mount Olive Correctional Complex, she has seen firsthand how important oral health is to a person's overall wellbeing. One of the biggest misconceptions she encounters is the belief that correctional dental care is only about emergencies.
The reality is much different.
Dental teams provide preventive care, patient education, restorative treatment, and other essential services that help improve both health and quality of life. It is work that requires clinical expertise, compassion, and a commitment to caring for patients in a unique environment.
Thank you to Mary Beth and all of our dental professionals, for the care, professionalism, and dedication they bring to our patients every day.

Omaha, Nebraska, recently welcomed correctional and public safety professionals from across the country for the National Sheriffs' Association Annual Conference.
The conference provided an opportunity to explore the issues impacting correctional facilities today while bringing together leaders from across the profession to discuss operations, leadership, staffing, and other topics influencing the future of corrections.
Wexford Health was proud to be part of this year's event and connect with professionals committed to supporting safe, effective, and well managed correctional environments. Events like NSA create opportunities to gain valuable insight, learn from the experiences of others, and strengthen the relationships that help move the industry forward.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with our team. We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this year's conference and look forward to applying the knowledge and perspectives gained throughout the event.
