The easiest way to think about it is this:

Tarot is rich with symbolism, emotions, spiritual lessons, and personal growth. It explores the why behind what's happening and how you can navigate it.
Lenormand is more direct and practical. It uses simple symbols like a Dog, a Key, a Ship, or a Letter to describe people, events, conversations, opportunities, and outcomes. It's less focused on feelings and more focused on facts.
For example:
