Cooling Centers are places where older adults who have no access to air conditioning can come to cool down during extreme periods of hot weather. They generally include air-conditioned facilities such as libraires, community and senior centers, schools, churches, and malls.

Spending at least a few hours in air conditioning especially for individuals 65 and older, can help to reduce the risk of heat related illnesses.
