Steel City Super Jam 2026 is officially in the books.

The final performance last night truly felt like witnessing Pittsburgh music history in real time.

Four bands that didn’t exist six days ago…
Playing songs that didn’t exist SIX days ago…

I can’t thank WYEP, Bottlerocket, and most importantly, the musicians enough for believing in the process and being brave enough to create music this way. And for everyone who showed up to support the final event last night, thank you, thank you.

The Super Jam may be a new concept, but it confirms what we already know:
Pittsburgh music has depth. It has numbers. It has wildly diverse, ridiculously talented artists who are NOT messing around.

Next year, 20 new musicians will get this same opportunity and I’ll repeat this until we run out. With your support, we can keep doing these for a long time.
