One of my favorite things about private events is that we can totally customize them. Want a dreamy summer picnic with fancy snacks and spritzes? Let’s do it. Want comfort food and comfy pants? Also valid. Want me to help you come up with a weirdly specific theme? Honestly, please do.

June cooking classes are already live on chefalekka.com and I still have some availability for private classes too.

Still thinking about this menu from Sunday’s private event 😭✨

A mom reached out all the way from California to hire me to cook for her son’s CMU graduation weekend and honestly…this one felt really special.

We did:🥔 crispy roasted potatoes with bacon🥕 roasted carrots + cauliflower🍖 Moroccan lamb chops with citrus, herbs, and pomegranate🥓 bacon wrapped dates🥂 prosciutto + asparagus crostini🥗 fresh salads, sauces, snacks, the whole spread

And not to be dramatic but…I was VERY proud of how this food turned out. Like the kind of proud where you stand in the kitchen staring at the plates for a second before people eat them 😂

Cooking for people during big life moments will never get old for me. Congratulations to the graduate and thank you for trusting me with such an important weekend 💛
