In honor of the holiday this weekend, Rev. Chi will enjoy a few days off. There will be no Love Note again until Tuedsday.

Respites are a an invitation to rest. Sometimes your soul is not asking you to push harder. You are being invited to wander, laugh a little ( or a lot) , read a book, attend a party, help a friend, sleep in, go fishing, watch a couple of sunsets or a movie, and remember that life is not meant to be survived, but experienced. Vacation and relaxation are not laziness, they are sacred medicine for a weary spirit. Many have weary spirits.
