Be Unto

With the new year comes new ideas about how to share our music! Something that several people have mentioned to us is house concerts and we are looking into it!

A house concert entails a host who hires a performer(s) to give a show in the comfort of their home. Tickets can be sold to friends/family to help cover the cost in advance of the show. Optionally, attendees can bring a dish before the performance for a 'potluck' dinner and time of visiting.

If attending or hosting one of these events interests you, let us know! We are already reaching out to other performers for advice on how to create memorable, community building experiences.

We had a great time last night at the Picayune Music Fest! Thanks to everybody that sponsored it and most of all for Picayune Main Street for putting it on and giving us the opportunity!

Had a fun time last night in Ocean Springs playing in the MISSISSIPPI SONGWRITERS' FESTIVAL. Later today we'll be in downtown Picayune on West canal for the Picayune Music Fest. We kick off the music at 4:45, followed by Jared Daws and the Sam Forshey Blues Band. The festival is free so come out and see us and engage in our community!

Last night, at least thirteen people committed their lives to Jesus.

The people of Picayune gathered to grieve in community, for Charlie Kirk, for Iryna Zarutska, victims of school shootings and other tragedies, but ultimately for the overwhelming darkness that this world has fallen into.

This world is broken and full of sin. The powers and principalities (demons) are taking captives and bringing division amongst people, including the church. When it seems that everything good is being lost, fear rules hearts and minds, and all is hopeless, there is only one being we can turn to.

Jesus.

Last night, we offered ourselves as servants, worshipping God and His goodness, calling people to recognize that all are made in the image of God, and pointing to Christ, who loves us, saves us, redeems us, and enables us to love even our enemies. In light of the truth proclaimed by several, thirteen people accepted Jesus's salvation. Several came up to get a free bible. God knows how many more were encouraged, convicted, and have His word still working in their hearts and minds. Our experience throughout the night was peace, renewed hope, refreshing of spirit, and a filling of zeal to be obedient in loving God and others. We continue to pray for our community, our country, and for opportunities and willingness to serve wherever He calls.

Next Saturday we’ll be opening the Picayune Music Festival at 4:45!
