REMINDER: Registration for Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC) for the 2018-19 school year is available now. Register online or in-person: Phoenix.gov/Parks/PAC. PAC is offered at 37 school sites citywide. An experienced recreation staff leads structured enrichment activities and provides homework assistance.

The Human Rights Awards are coming for 2019 and recognize those who have made an impact in the quality of life of Phoenix residents. The Living the Dream Award honors youth and adults who represent the ideas of Dr. King and contribute to creating a compassionate and socially just community, while the Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who’s actions of promoting civil rights and social and economic justice, for at least 10 years, has made Phoenix a better place to live.
