Last week, our Executive VP of Public Policy & Government Relations, Bill Sczepanski, proudly represented Team Select Home Care at Illinois Homecare & Hospice Council (IHHC) Lobby Day in Springfield.

A special thank you to Sara Ratcliffe, Executive Director of IHHC, and Kristin Rubbelke, IHHC Lobbyist, for organizing an impactful event and continuing to champion home-based care across Illinois.

During Lobby Day, we advocated for:
✅ A 20% rate increase for Private Duty Nursing (PDN)
✅ Implementation of the Family CNA Legislation for unskilled care
✅ Implementation of HB 2369, allowing Certified Family Health Aides to provide skilled care

We were also honored to meet with Representative Nicole Stava, State Representative Anne Stava , a leading advocate and sponsor for family caregiver legislation and PDN rate increases. Her continued support for medically complex patients and the families who care for them is making a meaningful difference.
