This in-depth course is taught by University of Arizona industry experts and is designed for landscape professionals, designers, installers, maintenance crews, municipal staff, property managers, and HOA members.

SMARTSCAPE WINTER PLANT HIGHLIGHT
1. Brittlebush (Encelia farinosa): full sun; very well- drained soil; once stablished, very low watering. During winter, water sparingly.
2. Desert Marigold (Baileya multiradiata): full sun; sandy or gravelly soil; minimal water once established. Deadhead for more blooms.
3. Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis): full sun; well-draining soil; deep, infrequent watering once established.
4.Red yucca (Hesperaloe parviflora): full sun; very well-draining soil; water occasionally, especially in summer, but very low water needs once established.
