New build, young family, and a backyard made to actually live in☀️

We started by seamlessly overlaying their existing concrete with pavers to create a clean, unified patio that extends the usable space. From there, it opens into a wide turf field built for years of kid chaos, games, and everything in between.

Framed by an existing ficus hedge and anchored with a single Chinese pistache for that seasonal color pop (without the mess), the yard stays clean, functional, and low-maintenance, while the corner space sits a travertine-capped wood burning fire pit spot, perfect for s’mores, drinks, and those upcoming Fourth of July nights that turn into memories🎆

We overlayed the old surface entirely with a beautiful silver travertine under the covered patio and throughout the full pool deck, finishing the back pool wall with stacked stone to tie the whole space together.
It was a genuine pleasure delivering this project for our clients, and with Arizona’s long summer already here, the timing couldn’t be better to enjoy every single day of it.
