We don’t know all of Kitty’s story - it seems she was a feral street cat in central Phoenix for most of her life, with an ear clip to prove it. She slept in a storm drain, buried in the pomegranate trees and bushes, or behind an old couch on the patio. She had a partner in crime - Black Cat - who she’d snuggle up to in flower pots before we bought them a small outdoor cat house for them to stay warm in. At a mere 3lbs on a good day, she looked like a little old lady and would successfully beg at our neighbors’ door for food, then leave it to her friend to eat. Black Cat passed and she was lonely. After years of leaving food out and sitting in a lawn chair while talking with her for hours, she trusted us enough to come close to us and eventually let us pet her. Then, we were moving, so we kidnapped her! She traveled to our new home trapped in an XL dog crate because we didn’t want her to feel claustrophobic. At first, she slept on our hardwood floor. Eventually, she learned that all the beds lying around were for her, and I like to think she had some of the best sleep of her life. She learned that humans are just living heating pads, how to nap in the sun without worrying about wandering neighborhood pit bulls, and how good crunchy cat nip treats were. She’d have supervised patio time where she’d roll in the dirt like old times and sit under the trees, then promptly run back inside to resume her peaceful life inside. She was our alarm clock, our companion, and the grumpiest, happiest girl. We’re so glad she spent the last chapter of her life in retirement as a house cat. We absolutely adored her and tell her story to everyone we meet. Kitty and black cat are reunited now, running the streets of heaven with brand new kidneys. We’ll never forget you.

Kelsey was an adventure dog, she loved hiking, trail running, paddle boarding, kayaking, exploring and playing in the snow. She was cautious but brave. She was nonchalant and always excited to play if you wanted. She was smart and knew so many commands. She was loyal and always wanted to be included on the activity, even if it was just a car ride to the store. Her favorite thing to chase were rabbits. She was a tough girl too, from jumping cactus run-ins, to multiple surgeries, she always took it like a champ and let you care for her. She was loved by many and is missed immensely. Thank you for being my little girl and always being there for me. - Daniel

Here are just a few of my favorite photos of Savannah Lyric, or the ones I look back on to remember her.

Thank you for everything you did to help her pass in peace, I can't tell you how much being able to do this at home on my own time meant to me. I will definitely remember this when the time comes for either of my boys. This whole process was the hardest thing to do but being able to do it from home and having such caring professionals be here with us meant everything to me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Kalise

In Loving Memory of Gotti & Capone
March 27, 2026 • 13 Years of Love
Gotti and Capone,
Our hearts will forever carry the love you gave us.
From the moment you came into our lives at just 10 weeks old, you became family. You grew alongside us, filled our days with laughter, comforted us in quiet moments, and gave us a kind of unconditional love that only you could give.
For 13 beautiful years, you were more than pets—you were our companions, our protectors, and our best friends. You were also such a special part of our family’s journey—helping raise their human sisters, Nevada and Jayden, with love, loyalty, and gentle protection. And later, you welcomed Bricyn and Ophelia ,your human moms grandkids, with that same warmth and kindness.
You were there through every season of life, leaving paw prints not just on our floors, but on our hearts.
Though you crossed the rainbow bridge on March 27th, your spirit will always remain with us. In every memory, every quiet moment, and every smile that comes through tears—you are still here.
You were so deeply loved, and you will be missed every single day.
Run free together, Gotti and Capone. Until we meet again. 🐾💙
Forever loved,
Forever missed.
