It's about that time when you might think to yourself, "What am I going to get Mom (or Dad) for Mother's (or Father's) Day? Here is a piece that I made a couple years back, but its my favorite because of how hard it was to make. The wood was littered with insect holes. I had to fill most of the holes with resin before I could turn this piece on the lathe.

New spalted aspen bowl for sale. Rod Svoma helped me cut up this fallen aspen tree last fall up on the rim. This light weight wood makes very beautiful pieces.
