The president has signed some executive orders to provide additional relief in the absence of congressional action.
Details are light at this time.

New Jobless Claims are out this morning and they continue to be a good news/bad news story. Also a “worse news” story is brewing.
Bad news - 3.8 million people are newly out of work. That is still staggering and horrifying.
Good news - that awful number is continuing to trend downward, so in a way things are improving.
Worse news - states are running out of money to pay for Unemployment Insurance. This is going to become a bigger story - already has been to a degree. Stay tuned. People are counting on these benefits to get through this.
