A growing public debate has erupted in Margibi County following the donation of 32 trash cans by the Office of Senator Emmanuel Nuquay to the Kakata City Corporation (KCC), with a District #2 resident publicly challenging the defense mounted by the Senator's Chief of Staff, Campbell B. Dennis, II.

The controversy began after media reports described the donated items as "modern trash cans," prompting Campbell Dennis to issue a lengthy clarification. In his statement, Dennis accused a local media outlet of misrepresenting the donation and falsely attributing remarks to his office. He maintained that neither he nor the Office of Senator Nuquay ever described the items as "modern trash cans" during the official presentation ceremony.
