Today’s topic for my Sports psych class!!!

Mental imagery is a powerful tool that helps athletes mentally rehearse success before it happens. By vividly visualizing skills, game situations, and confident performances, athletes activate the same neural pathways used in physical ex*****on. This strengthens motor patterns, boosts confidence, and improves focus under pressure.

Imagery also prepares athletes to handle adversity by mentally practicing composure and resilience. When combined with physical training, mental imagery enhances performance by training the mind to lead the body.
