For those of you concerned about the Perkasie Place LLC development next to Mavis and Landis, this is the full Perkasie Zoning Hearing Board decision denying the use of apartments under the current zoning. ZHB rejected the variance request for five reasons and said the developer would need to request an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance from Borough council to allow a multifamily use. The latest on the proposed land use next to Landis and Mavis Tire. The same applicant wants to put a privately owned recycling center on the property, which is a use by right under the Zoning Code. They went before the Perkasie planning commission to present a spec plan.
