Emekas fund is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization who provides financial assistance to families who cannot afford to euthanize their terminally ill pets.
So many pets suffer with cancer, age-related illness, and sudden medical emergencies. When treatment isn’t an option, families are often left devastated... feeling like they have to surrender their pet or say goodbye without being there because of the cost.

We step in when there’s nowhere else to turn.

We help alleviate that financial burden and keep families together until their pet’s very last breath.

We started this in memory of EMEKA, a beautiful German shepherd who was surrendered to ACCT, because his parents could afford private euthanasia. He was a very sick boy as he sat in the kennel. As volunteers, we took him out of ACCT to a private veterinarian where he passed in peace and comfort. Please help us continue our mission for pet owners in Philadelphia.
