As we welcome the New Year, let’s not forget our pets — cats and dogs often feel scared and stressed by loud fireworks. 💥 What sounds like celebration to us can feel terrifying to them.

🐱🐶 Please keep your New Year celebrations pet-friendly:

✅️ Skip fireworks and firecrackers if you can
✅️ Keep pets safely indoors
✅️ Turn on the TV or soft music to help muffle loud noises
✅️ Comfort them with treats, toys, and lots of love
✅️ Make sure to get their medicine refilled if needed

Let’s start the New Year with kindness and compassion — for everyone, including the ones with fur and paws. ❤️🐾

We're looking to collect new or gently used towels. Thease will be donated to "The Bridge Clinic". Depending on the amount collected we would like to donate to both of their locations. They didn't ask at all, this is totally random out of love. Please share this post around to get the word out

Our shelter is overwhelmed. No matter how hard we work, there simply isn’t enough space. The dogs who’ve been here the longest—the big, beautiful ones with the kind eyes and wagging tails—are the ones most at risk.

We’re asking our community to step up in any way they can:

❤️ Foster: Take home a large dog between now and Sunday, July 13th, keep them for at least four weeks, and receive a $250 gift card as our thank you. Just send us a few photos, a video, and a bio within the first 10 days to help us get them adopted.

🏡 Adopt: If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, now is the time. Thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation, all adoption fees are just $10 through July 19th. There are so many amazing dogs waiting to meet you.
