Happy Father’s Day to the man, the myth, the legend, the cat lover. Any of you that have told me I’m a good dude and are impressed that I can fix a lot of stuff or say you are coming to my house when the zombies show up, can thank him (and of course my mom, but it’s Father’s Day ) for teaching me how to be a good person. Love ya Dad! (He’s not on social media and probably won’t see this, lol). 📸

So this is 48. Don’t feel a day over 49. In October I found out I’m Diabetic, type 2. Something I earned by taking horrible care of myself for long stints of time over the last 47 years. I knew it was coming and when the doctor confirmed I decided right then I needed to make some major changes. Changed my diet and life habits, thanks in huge amounts to the support and encouragement of . Then a month later got back into Muay Thai which I hadn’t trained in since I messed up my knee in 2017. It was tough first step but has become my church. I love it and everyone there. Thank you to Coach Derick, Coach Muriel and Coach Ali for whooping my old ass every class. 2024 has started off as a really tough year. Lost some friends and has some serious downs but also had some really amazing opportunities. Thank you to all my friends and family for wanting me to stay on this planet and encouraging me to be the best version of myself I can be. As of today I’m knocking on 50’s door and yet I’m in the best shape and the lowest weight I’ve been since my early 20’s. Take care of yourselves and get your bloodwork done and find the thing that gets you motivated!
