If you’re exhausted from watching life pass you by, take just 5 minutes to try this simple exercise:
1. Find a safe, quiet place that's distraction free
2. Think about 3-5 goals that you set out to do but failed to accomplish
3. Reflect on what you did to achieve these goals or the lack there of
4. Ask yourself, was this impossible for you to do?
If your answer to #4 is no, the reason you didn't accomplish the goals you set out to do wasn't because you were incompetent but because you didn't believe.
The fastest way to believe is to tell a story.
Rewrite your story, rehearse your story and change your beliefs to match what you're capable of.
