Winter 2018 Community Classes - North Light Community Center

THAT’S A WRAP! Nearly 10,000 lbs of clothes and $2,000 brought in this year through our community clothing drive to benefit North Light Community Center. That brings our grand total over 4 years to over 45,000 lbs! Thank you to all those who donated, the 38 businesses who were dropoff locations this year, and the volunteers who gave of their time throughout the past 2 months. The Thanks4Giving Clothing Drive is certainly one of our favorite achievements at ADVENT. Start stockpiling those unwanted clothes for our 5th Annual in November and December of 2018!

The second pick up by ClothingShoeDrive.comyesterday weighed in “Just shy of 10,000 pounds,” according to Joe M. DeCandido, owner of ADVENT Consulting, LLC and coordinator of the Thanks4Giving Clothing Drive. That means the drive raised almost $2,000 for North Light! Our thanks go to the many volunteers who diligently got all the clothing to the storage unit, donated by Mr Storage throughout the drive. And thanks to everyone for supporting North Light by making donations!
