Inquirer/Daily News History Happy Hour

Thursday, April 30, 2026, 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM

A few weeks back your new board was clearing out a closet upstairs at the P&P and found a cardboard box with hundreds of photographs of Inquirer and Daily News journalists, advertising staff, and drivers -- all from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. We want your help to identify the folks in these photos -- we'd love to decorate the club with them! Come to the P&P to help dig through this treasure trove and bring some vintage Philly news memorabilia of your own for our walls.
Check out some of the photos we found!

Dear friends,
This is a moment to show up! NABJ Philadelphia is launching a $10,000 Challenge Grant for the Michael I. Days Scholarship Fund—and every donation will be matched dollar for dollar by the
Lenfest Institute for Journalism. That means your support has double the impact and helps open doors for future storytellers. Let’s meet the match!

Hello fellow alumni. In the coming days, Rider University in New Jersey will be posting a number of adjunct positions in journalism, communications, and graphic design. At the end of December, 30 full-time faculty were abruptly laid off (including me) with no severance and a 48-hour notice of discontinuation of health insurance, all in violation of our existing union contract. I’m asking you all NOT to apply for any adjunct position at Rider, with the hopes that it will trigger the bargaining agreement’s recall provision, allowing some of those who were laid off to continue working during the spring semester. Thank you for considering my request.
In solidarity,
Jackie Incollingo (Inquirer reporter 2000 to 2007)
