Over the years on Black Friday we open up the DTM Studio for a day filled with holiday music, friends, and performances 🎤 What’s most important is that our kidz volunteer to come in and help create holiday cards with messages of Love, Hope and Strength, that are then placed into our Kidz4Cuz! Solina 💜 Strong 💪🏻 Comfort Care packages for delivery to Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Heath NJ and The Minniti Center in Mickelton, NJ during the holiday season 🎄

When we first started this initiative it was just a handful of Kidz. This year, we had our biggest turnout yet! It’s always a FUN day for the kidz to bond, while also writing beautiful messages inside cards that are just so incredibly touching. Not only are our kids talented but they get IT, and we couldn’t be more PROUD

On Friday morning we will hand deliver the packages to those in treatment and fighting the fight! 👊🏻 It’s an important day on our calendar and we couldn’t think of better way to end the year then making spirits bright while spreading holiday cheer for all to hear! 🎅🏻

It’s been an insanely busy but wonderful week that brought us to another amazing day on Friday. THANK YOU to our DTM Family and Kidz4Cuz! community who joined us in fulfilling our annual mission of delivering Kidz4Cuz! cancer care comfort packages for the holidays. We continue our mission with more LOVE and meaning as we continue to honor and remember one of our own, DTM / Kidz4Cuz mama, warrior, Solina Feliciano-Gonnion 💜

We LOVE everything about MUSIC and PERFORMANCE but it’s what we do in giving back that matters the most! Our talent/student performers are enjoying more success than ever and it’s because we continue to do it differently at our Drop The Mic Inc studio! We have had another tremendous year of growth and we are helping more people than ever (because that’s what we do!) We always PERFORM with a PURPOSE and we love even more watching our kids develop into good people!

The featured photos whether you were with us or not, you as a member of this family have contributed to the comfort of others fighting the fight during this holiday season. And, sometimes THANK YOU just doesn’t seem like enough. But knowing it comes from a heart that is colored purple, and the love of family, should mean a whole lot more.

We started this initiative 6 years ago after Miss Deb survived her battle with ovarian cancer. When we lost Solina a year and a half ago to lung cancer, we re-committed our efforts adding 100 more packages (350 in total) for delivery to our partners at Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson Health - New Jersey and The Minniti Center for Oncology & Hematology where both Solina and Miss Deb had their treatment.

It was a wonderful day of giving, singing, and listening to some inspirational words from Miss Deb along with some more inspiring messages inside our hand made cards from our Kidz that were placed in every care package.

Today was a GOOD day as our mission is more focused than ever! 💯
