Dumbest comment heard today at the Philadelphia Flower Show. “Those trophies don’t make it look good.” I kid you not.

Sad to hear about the passing of Jesse Jackson. When I covered the Ford Motor Company shareholders meeting in 2009 he stopped in the press room and chatted with us for about 15 minutes. To me, it seemed like we were all mesmerized by his presence. Entertaining and personable is how I remember him. Super nice guy.
