The SR Foundation goal is to assist students, educators, and communities in success through appreciative thinking.

Meet us July 16th as we raise funds to do just that! Funds raised during this event will allow us to host several one-time workshops, resource fairs, and professional developments in low-income communities.

For many years, I would take the quote meme about a new month to heart.
•
I believed every month I had to start something new or shift something in my life that it started to cause burn out.
•
It wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized how even more important the saying “slow and steady wins the race.”
•
I want to help someone who is on the fast track and leaving things undone. It’s okay to NOT start new every month, but really hone in.
•
This month take some time to look at what you started and stopped because it was too hard, not getting the traction/support you wanted or something new came about.
•
This month let’s finish what we started!
Sometimes you look for a reminder or words of encouragement from someone else, when in reality…you have everything you need within.
•
Many might not have a video like this, but find a note you wrote or recall a conversation you had with yourself. Don’t let present hardships, stop you from walking into the woman/man you were called to be.
•
Take a moment this weekend to reflect and reset! You got this! 💪🏾
