🦃🍁🐶 Pet-Safe Thanksgiving 🐶🍁🦃

With Thanksgiving a few days a away, here are a few tips to make sure you, guests, and your 4 legged friends are happy and safe. Please read below for some additional tips!! 🔽🔽🔽

EXERCISE 🦮- be sure to make some time to exercise your dog the day before and the day of Thanksgiving. This will help your pup get rid of their excess energy, making the day a bit less stressful for your dog.

KIDS 👶👧🧒 - if your dog is not used to kiddos, please make sure to give your dog a safe place. Do not be afraid to set up rules about the kiddos and dogs and remind your guests. This will keep everyone safe.

PET ID 🪪 - micro chips and id tags need to be up to date. Accidents can happen when guests are coming in or headed out.

‼️ It’s really ok to leave your dog at home‼️ Think about what stresses your dog out. Car rides? New people? Kids? Do they get over excited and jump on everyone? Do they get along with other animals? If you’re going to be gone all day hire a pet sitter to drop in for a potty break and some attention. (PS… I do have availability throughout the whole weekend)
