☀️ MY SIMPLE MORNING ROUTINE FOR ENERGY ☀️
Over time, I’ve learned that energy doesn’t just come from coffee ☕
The little habits you build into your mornings can completely change how you feel throughout the day — mentally and physically.
Here are a few things I try to prioritize for a more energized morning:
✨ Hydration first
Before anything else, I try to drink water to help wake up my body and mind.
✨ A protein-packed breakfast or smoothie
Starting the day with balanced nutrients helps me avoid energy crashes later.
✨ Morning movement
Even a short walk, stretching session, or light workout makes a difference.
✨ Quiet time before the chaos
Whether it’s coffee, prayer, journaling, or simply sitting in silence for a few minutes… slowing down helps me feel more grounded.
✨ Fueling my body intentionally
Simple wellness habits add up over time — and consistency matters more than perfection.

A lot of people don’t realize… My Fave Recipes didn’t actually start as a recipe page at all. 🤍
Back in 2022, I originally started sharing my personal wellness journey — the foods I was eating, my workouts, healthy habits, and simple ways I was trying to take better care of myself both physically and mentally.
Over time, that slowly evolved into experimenting with:

🥬 healthy smoothies
✨ protein-focused wellness drinks
🍹 mocktails during the holidays
🍓 and eventually beautiful homemade trifles & desserts
What started as me simply sharing parts of my lifestyle slowly turned into something much bigger.
As more people began asking questions, requesting recipes, and supporting my Etsy shop, I realized people weren’t just looking for inspiration — they wanted easy, realistic ideas they could recreate at home too.
That’s when Healthy Eats & Treats by Somer eventually evolved into what is now known as My Fave Recipes. 🤍
