We need 500 art and culture defenders to sign our petition by June 1st!

proposed $3.5 million for PCF in FY27.

That is not enough.

This is a major decrease from $5 million in FY26, when championed PCF during budget season.

This year, PCF and CM Landau know that the City of Philadelphia must make a stronger investment in our art and culture community–this administration needs to increase City budget allocation to $6 million.

What will $6 million do? It will ensure PCF can continue to provide critical support through general operating grants to the art and culture organizations that are the heartbeat of our neighborhoods, driving connection, economic vitality, and community well-being.

Good news: Contemporary Technique with Silvana Cardell is moving back to Monday evenings (6:30–7:30 pm) in May & early June, starting Monday, May 4th!

In this class, expect to perform a mix of movement sequences, follow momentum, connect to spatial patterns with ease, and explore dynamic movement changes. Open level class with online registration & in person sliding scale registration options.

Intro to Salsa On2 with Priscilla Ruilova and Kevin Kim begins next Thursday, April 9th, 7-9 pm!

This 6-week series will give you a firm foundation to begin your salsa and social dancing journey. The series will culminate in an open Salsa Social at the studio on Thursday, May 14th!

🕰️ Thursdays 11:30am—1 pm
🗓️ March 26th—April 30th (6 weeks)

This intermediate/advanced level class blends modern, contemporary dance techniques and somatic studies. The goal of these classes are to maintain a vibrant dance practice to support the professional or trained dancer’s conditioning and artistry, and introduce modern dance fundamentals with clarity. Expect to perform a mix of movement sequences, follow momentum, connect to spatial patterns, and explore dynamic changes.
