Yesterday, all members of Mariachi León Varsity and JV received their recognition awards for completing the 2025–2026 school year.

Alessandra, we are going to miss you so much, but we are excited for your next chapter and we hope your college journey is filled with success and many new opportunities. No matter where life takes you, we hope you always carry the years you spent in Mariachi León in your heart. 🎶❤️

Thank you to Mr. Polo, Director of the Boys & Girls Club South Pharr Unit, for the invitation. After our performance, we had a very inspiring conversation with him. We were happy to learn how much he loves mariachi music and that Vicente Fernández is his favorite artist.
He expressed how much he enjoyed our participation, congratulated our directors for their hard work, and gave us many words of advice, especially about being persistent and continuing on this mariachi journey, which is one of the most beautiful ways we can share our culture with the community. 🇲🇽
