Underdog Deer Tracking

Who needs sleep when you can be out tracking deer? Got a call this evening to track a buck two properties down from my hunting property, I buck I have most likely encountered myself. Tracked through a creek, through the woods and across a field where we found him alive, but hurt and moving slow. We backed out and the hunter will be checking the area in the morning.

Number 2 for the day. A bit of a wet swampy track but it didnt stop Arlo from staying on track. Found this dude laying in a creek. Congratulations on your buck Brandon, thanks for having us out to assist in tracking him.

I honestly love tracking for younger hunters, especially those that have never got to see a dog work. Underdog went for a walk with Isaiah this morning looking for his buck that he shot yesterday. Well, Arlo did what Arlo does best, we put him on odor and he took off with it. 30 minutes and 1.5 miles Arlo lifted his head and looked straight down wind where this buck was laying dead 100 yards away! Isaiah, congratulations again a very cool unique buck and thank you for calling us out to recover your trophy!
